The Home for Girls

The girls home cares for adolescent girls and young women as well as male babies. When they become school age they are then transferred to the boys' home. All the staff who work in the girls' home try to make them feel in family as much as possible; they attend church, kindergarten, elementary school and high school. They also carry out vocational activities, make portfolios of soft drinks and others. They also have a bakery that offers them the opportunity to learn a trade and work place skills. The bread products are sold to the local community and help to support the other projects of the association.

Within the facilities of the girls' home there is a kindergarten serving boys and girls in the local community, and a class room for special education students, many of whom come from Casa Misericordia and "The farm"(or The Boys Home).

"Being part of the Hogar Nazareth family means love, protection, and happiness."

- said by a 17 year old girl

We have a small bakery located in the Girls' Home. The Bakery is a place of vocational training for the boys and girls and of self-sustainability for our Homes.

"Maintaining a happy family requires a lot from parents and children. Each member of the family must become, in a special way, the servant of others."
